Nief has reported the synthesis of bimetallic complex 52 from 4-sila-8-stannatetrahydro-s-indacenes 50 (Scheme 20).[121,122] Other bimetallic complexes can also be synthesized via complex 51. Dichlorobis(η5-phospholyl)titanium(IV) complexes 55 have been synthesized by reaction of 1-(trimethylstannyl)phospholes 54 with titanium(IV) chloride (Scheme 20).[121,122] The reaction of 1-(trimethylstannyl)phospholes 54 with trichloro(η5-cyclopentadienyl)titanium(IV) gives mixed-ligand dichloro(η5-cyclopentadienyl)(η5-phospholyl)titanium(IV) complexes 56 (Scheme 20).[121]
