(η3-Allyl)bis(η5-cyclopentadienyl)titanium(III) (127, R1 = H) has been prepared by reaction of allylmagnesium chloride or bromide with [Ti(Cp)2Cl] (84) or [TiCpCl2] (95) (Scheme 65). Phenylallyl and methylallyl derivatives 127 (R1 = Me, Ph) have been prepared in the same way.[268]
