In contrast, under similar conditions, 2-alkyl-2H-benzotriazoles 713 are converted into the corresponding trans-4,5,6,7-diepoxy-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-2H-benzotriazoles 714 (Scheme 264).[‌715‌]
