Superphthalocyanine 63 is a macrocycle composed of five isoindoline units surrounding a dioxouranyl cation. It displays a broadened, red-shifted Q-band (~920 nm) relative to that of phthalocyanine and is unstable at high temperatures; giving phthalocyanine as a decomposition product.[106]
