Condensation reaction of primary arylamines with formaldehyde, followed by reaction with sodium hydrogen telluride, gives cyclic Te,N-acetals 75 along with the 1,2,4-ditellurazolidines 76 (Scheme 44).[133] The acetals 75 are obtained as greenish yellow solids, and their aerobic oxidation leads to the compounds 76.
