The regioselective [3+3] cyclization of 3-alkoxy-1-siloxybuta-1,3-dienes 54 with 3-siloxyalk-2-en-1-ones 55 provides acceptable yields of the polysubstituted 2-alkoxybenzoates 56 (Scheme 19).[29] The high regioselectivity is consistent with previous results.[30]
