Propargylic hydroxylamines 31 are easily and efficiently prepared following conventional synthetic sequences. These compounds are converted into the corresponding 2,3-dihydroisoxazoles 32 by a zinc(II) iodide catalyzed ring-closure reaction (Scheme 10).[9]
