The reactions discussed in this section represent reductions of cyclopropenes to cyclopropanes through the addition of two hydrogen atoms across the double bond, as well as by hydro- or carbometalation reactions of cyclopropenes followed by protonolysis[335,336] (see also Houben–Weyl, Vol. E 17a, pp 118, 213).
