General Introduction
Further examples of the synthesis of phenols by rearrangement methods, involving (i) the migration of allyl or carbonyl groups or (ii) the rearrangement of dienones, have been reported since the publication of Science of Synthesis Section 31.5.1.3 in 2007. Research in this area has mainly focused on the search for alternative reagents and reaction conditions.
