DOI: 10.1055/sos-SD-207-00423

Gosmini, C.; Corpet, M.Science of Synthesis: Cross Coupling and Heck-Type Reactions, (20131624.

The palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of arylzinc halides with aryl halides represents one of the most general and satisfactory routes to unsymmetrical biaryls. Although this reaction is catalyzed by nickel or rhodium complexes, palladium complexes have been much more developed for this purpose.
