Polysubstituted 1H-pyrroles 27 can be synthesized via a copper-catalyzed three-component reaction (Scheme 14).[26] Thus, the reaction of α-diazo ketones 24 with amines 25 and nitroalkenes 26 in the presence of a catalytic amount of copper(I) trifluoromethanesulfonate, under air, gives polysubstituted 1H-pyrroles 27 in good yields.
